Nokia SMS Vulnerability: Curse Of Silence

A hacker orgnization in Germany named Chaos Computer Club unleashed this bug of NOKIA S60 system smartphone recently(May be released on 3.Jan.2008?).

The video beneath showed that if you compose a special sms and send it to S60 phone, the receiver's SMS/MMS/E-mail function will be disabled and cannot be restored by reboot untill you enter the RESTORE FACTORY DATA keys: *#7370#.

So far, there is no way to patch this bug. So, get a reliable SMS firewall and block these deadly messages.
